I Heat & Cool is a dominant air conditioning installation business operating across eastern Victoria. When engagement began, the existing website was functional and visually acceptable, but structurally limited for the growth targets set.

The site lacked sufficient depth in service segmentation, keyword targeting, and product benefit positioning. From both an SEO and conversion perspective, the architecture was too thin to support the outcomes required.

The objective was to rebuild the structure to improve organic visibility, increase clarity between service types, and strengthen on-page conversion performance.

OUR APPROACH

We began by identifying structural constraints.

Installation and repair services were not clearly separated, limiting Google’s understanding of intent and reducing the site’s ability to rank for specific high-value terms. We restructured the site architecture to clearly segment installation and repair pathways.

Additional sub-service pages were developed to support broader keyword targeting and improve topical authority. Each page was aligned to distinct intent categories to strengthen natural search performance.

Alongside SEO restructuring, pages were rebuilt with clearer product benefits, stronger hierarchy, and more legible offer positioning to improve natural conversion rate.

Design process

The design process was guided by competitor benchmarking and search intent analysis.

We reviewed leading competitors to understand how benefits were communicated above the fold and how offer clarity influenced click-through and enquiry behaviour. The layout was rebuilt to improve readability, simplify messaging, and highlight key selling points earlier in the user journey.

Above-the-fold structure was prioritised to clearly communicate service value, differentiation, and next steps. This ensured both paid and organic traffic were met with immediate clarity.

The outcome was a cleaner, more legible structure aligned to both ranking and conversion performance.
