We were introduced to Rainco early 2024. They were facing a large issue, minimal sales, with a large stock reserve. Our goal was to get to work fast to improve sales. We had a limited budget, and the goal was to maximise sales in a short period of time.
We instantly started pushing social media and SEO. SEO was vital to selling their best selling product, which was sitting in a high demand, low supply market. We created a better collection structure, leading to immediate improvements to their performance and gained quick sales from SEO.
Social Media was a large driver for raising awareness and driving campaigns to sell less demanded stock. We made sales campaigns with offers to really push low demanded stock into the market. This helped improve business cashflow to continue to purchase better products, improving the overall A-grade product stock count.
Rainco was faced with doing little revenue numbers, but a large stock base. We had one goal, 4x their sales in 4 months. Seems impossible, but we got to work. Their best selling product is called ‘antique brass’ tapware, this drove sales for Rainco and we planned to use SEO to win sales as the market had space to quickly rank for it.
Social Media ads were employed to present discounted products (move stock quickly on non-selling product) and new product lines to accelerate sales and brand awareness. We combined ads using new products & discounts to offer a variety of options into the market. We then used shopping ads to retarget these people with direct pricing and product price ads to sell them directly to a strong landing page. This grew sales immediately for Rainco, resulting in a 8.69 ROAS.
Search Engine Optimisation was our strongest tool for growing long term sales for their most sought after product. When Rainco came on board, we immediately reshaped their URL structure to enable better traffic flow for their core selling products. This immediately saw a benefit towards their antique brass product line.
From our SEO efforts, this caused a sharp increase in sales resulting in selling out current stock and pre-ordered stock prior to arriving in Australia!
SEO is a slow burn and once it reaches quite a few clicks a day, it is very profitable. We knew we had to start this immediately, so we got to work and began improving their technical SEO to make large changes quickly so they are in the best position possible. Once this was done, their SEO really began to take off, resulting is sales flying through the door for their most sought after products. They quickly jumped to page 1 for most product categories.
We needed people to start viewing their brand as a luxurious item, the ‘rolls royce’ of taps. To do this, we began rolling out content that promotes a luxurious feel, to give the audience the perception of luxury associated with the item. These ads began to improve sales and general brand recognition.
The tapware business is heavily capital intensive, meaning that selling unused stock is essential. We quickly made specific product sales for non-sought after products, improving sales for these and overall cashflow to fund purchasing better selling products.
