Australian Air Conditioning and Electrical (AACAE) is a growing air conditioning company, based out of Springvale in Melbourne. They specialise in residential and light commercial air conditioning installation.

AACAE’s largest issue was they were receiving leads not within their target radius, despite specific targeting. We had to find a way forward, where we can build their targeting to be much more accurate, and still keep the same lead count with the same CPA. As a business, we had to begin to look into SEO & Google Ads too, with the focus for Google targeting to be on light commercial builds, rather than residential works.

Social Media Ads

AACAE have been utilising social media ads prior to coming on board with Blufire, however, the leads were not location specific and poor quality. Our goal was to change this and refine their sales funnel with better quality leads.

We decided that creating ads specific to their dealers they work closely with & presenting a strong offer would be the best strategy. In conjunction with AACAE, we came up with a few strong offers, and put these into the market. From what we saw, specific competitive ads, crushed the market, buying leads extremely cheap ($21.33).

We have continued to scale the ad account, resulting in generating AACAE over 150+ leads monthly to continue to fill their sales team’s pipeline!

Google Ads Performance

AACAE wanted to use Google Ads as tool to attract commercial builders, over smaller residential works, leaving this for social media ads. Initially, google ads was struggling to find their market and correct searches, however we continued to optimise the campaign and have seen incredible increases in results. From when we started, we were getting a few leads, however not with the correct targeting. We applied a few changes and restructured our campaigns, and we have seen the amount of leads double, with CPA dropping by over 30%!

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

AACAE recently updated their entire website early 2024, from previously having a minor search presence in the market. Once the website when live, we immediately jumped into making technical changes, to remove friction on the website in early rankings.

We started with doing keyword research for H1 and title tags, focusing on getting all pages on the website correct from the onset, so each page has an equally strong chance to rank. Once this was done, we began working on improving internal linking and more technical SEO problems enhancing immediate visibility and winning keyword rankings quickly.

Marketing strategy planning

For AACAE, our first goal was to improve social media advertising to improve the targeting and get better leads. We did this quickly, having it working in under a month, with leads becoming more accurate. Once this was working, we looked into Google Ads and SEO to ensure these are working well and getting better results.

Through discussions with AACAE, we decided that Google Ads will be the best avenue to grow their commercial customer base and SEO to gain ranks for both residential and commercial searches.

Execution

Once all strategic goals and timelines were in place, we began to roll out ads and grow the brand. Initially, it took time to begin growing Google Ads, as we continued to work, we applied amended campaign strategy to improve CPC, leading to massive increases in leads. As we continue to work with them, we are seeing continual market growth.
