Vinos of Uruguay

We developed a comprehensive branding suite and brand book to initiate growth in the wine industry

Vinos of Uruguay specializes in importing and distributing premium wines from Uruguay, emphasizing the unique characteristics of the region’s Tannat wines. The company focuses on small, family-run wineries, where wines are handcrafted with passion and tradition. They offer these exclusive wines to independent restaurants, boutique bottle shops, and directly to consumers, highlighting the connection between the wines and their origins.

We were tasked to build a complete branding booklet for Vinos of Uruguay. This was a great project, as it set the tone for the business’ brand and how they are presented to many businesses Australia wide. 

What did we do?

Our branding booklet was a complete end to end solution to be used by whichever businesses they work with in the future, to ensure a consistent image across all platforms and representations of themselves. Our branding booklet included logo design, secondary logos, brand colours, typography, tone of voice, example placements, wine papers, iconification and much more. Our strategy

Consultation period

When we begin a branding project, we want to make sure that everyone is on the same page about brand direction and goals. After initial discussions with Vinos of Uruguay, we hand drew designs and concepts for branding ideas, to give them a concept on the direction we believe is best for the brand. We continued to work in consultation until we found the right brand direction.

Designing phase

Once we understood the direction of Vinos of Uruguay, and how they wished for it to be portrayed, we then move onto designing the logo, along with all other assets. In this period, we also determined the best tone of voice for Vinos of Uruguay so it can run in conjunction with the logo and really convey how the business speaks to it’s audience. We want the branding to summarise who Vinos is about and why people should buy their wine.

Branding booklet

Once all the assets are completed, it is time to combine this into a booklet, so that all users of the brand are able to use brand assets correctly, enabling consistent brand imagery.
