Bathware wholesale and retail
Platform migration, website redesign, SEO migration
Lamex Bathrooms operates as a bathware wholesaler and retailer supplying products across Australia. The business was operating on WordPress with approximately 7,000 SKUs and required a more scalable infrastructure to support significant catalogue expansion.
The objective was to migrate the platform to Shopify, rebuild the front-end experience, and create a structured system capable of supporting growth to 35,000 SKUs. The website needed to function as a scalable eCommerce asset while preserving SEO performance during transition.

The project began with infrastructure planning.
Shopify was selected to support catalogue expansion, inventory scalability, and long-term operational efficiency. The migration required structured data handling, SKU mapping, and preservation of SEO equity to prevent ranking loss during transition.
We rebuilt the product architecture to support significant catalogue growth while maintaining clarity in navigation and filtering. The structure was designed to handle increased product volume without degrading user experience.
The objective was not only migration, but controlled scalability.
The design process focused on lifting brand presentation to align with market competitiveness.
Through competitor analysis and alignment with brand guidelines, we refined the visual hierarchy, product presentation, and category structure. The goal was to support higher digital revenue by improving product discoverability and conversion flow.
Front-end design was rebuilt to accommodate a larger SKU base without overwhelming users. Filtering, navigation, and layout were structured to support efficient browsing at scale.
The result is a cleaner, commercially aligned eCommerce experience capable of supporting aggressive product expansion.
Lamex Bathrooms now presents with a more structured and scalable digital presence.
The platform supports a significantly expanded catalogue while maintaining clarity in product categorisation and navigation. The upgraded design improves perception and aligns the brand with larger national competitors.
The infrastructure now reflects the scale of the business.
