Data Deletion
Last updated June 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your data from Blufire and the Margin OS platform, including the data we process from any account you connect: Meta, Google, Shopify and Klaviyo. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What this covers
When you use Margin OS you connect your own third-party accounts, which may include Meta, Google, Shopify and Klaviyo. We process data from those accounts on your instructions to produce your analytics and the audiences you choose to build. You can stop that processing and have the data deleted at any time. This page covers all connected platforms; platform-specific steps are in section 3.
2. Three ways to have your data deleted
- Email us (always available). Email info@blufire.com.au with the account, connection, or platform you want removed. We verify your identity (or your authority to make the request), action it, and confirm. Verified deletion requests are actioned within 30 days. This route is available whether or not you are signed in.
- Disconnect a connected account. When you are using Margin OS, disconnecting a platform revokes our access to it, stops all further collection, and deletes the data we ingested from that platform.
- Delete your account. Deleting your account removes your workspace and the data held in it, in line with the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.
3. Platform-specific deletion
Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
- Disconnect Meta in Margin OS, which revokes our access token, stops further reads and writes, and purges the Meta data we stored; or
- Remove Margin OS from your Facebook account under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, which revokes our access from Meta's side; or email us.
- Any audiences previously created in your own Meta Ads account remain under your control inside Meta and can be deleted there directly.
Google (Google Ads and Google Analytics)
- Disconnect Google in Margin OS, which revokes our OAuth access and deletes the Google data we stored; or
- Revoke Margin OS's access in your Google Account at myaccount.google.com under Data & privacy → Third-party apps & services; or email us.
- Any Customer Match audiences previously created in your own Google Ads account remain under your control in Google and can be deleted there.
Shopify
- Uninstall Margin OS from your Shopify admin under Settings → Apps and sales channels. Uninstalling triggers deletion of your store's data from Margin OS.
- We also honour Shopify's mandatory data-request and redaction requests (
customers/data_request,customers/redact,shop/redact), so a customer redaction or shop deletion initiated through Shopify cascades to the data we hold; or email us.
Klaviyo
- Disconnect Klaviyo in Margin OS, which revokes our OAuth access and deletes the Klaviyo data we stored; or
- Revoke Margin OS's access from your Klaviyo account settings; or email us.
4. If you are an end customer of a merchant
If your personal information is held because you are a customer of a business that uses Margin OS, that business is the controller of your data. Please direct your deletion request to the business you purchased from. If you contact us directly at info@blufire.com.au, we will, where required by law, action the request or promptly forward it to the relevant business and assist them in responding.
